Homestead Bed & Breakfast, in the beautiful Canadian Rockies, boasts of a 3 star Canada Select rating, classifying it as a very comfortable, clean accommodation with a great range of amenities and services. We have spacious, cozy rooms with private TV and sitting areas in each room. This new home has private baths and guest entrance, and is situated in a forest setting near the Nordic Centre with many walking paths just out the door.

Our rooms are furnished as follows:

1. Queen size bed with double hide-a-bed or sofa, private bath and T.V.
2. Double bed, single bed with double hide-a-bed or sofa, private ensuite bath and T.V.

After a comfy sleep, wake up to a hearty Canadian "breaky" in the dining area, close to the fireplace, or on the deck overlooking the park and mountains. Breakfast choice is served at your desired time from 7:30 to 10 am; then relax and enjoy our mountain view or games room.

Your hosts are Ron and Colline Seabrook. Before Ron and Colline came to Canmore, Ron moved to Calgary in 1968 from a farm in Saskatchewan where he was born and raised. Colline was born and raised in Calgary and the surrounding countryside of Calgary. Our grandparents were pioneer homesteaders to the Saskatchewan and Alberta prairies in the early 1900's. We can tell many of their experiences and the many changes they have seen since they came to this unsettled land.

Canmore is only 15 minutes east of Banff, 40 minutes east of Lake Louise, and 50 minutes west of Calgary and is on the edge of Kananaskis country. We offer: quaint downtown boutiques, a variety of family and fine dining, cross-country and downhill skiing, hiking, biking, golfing, canoeing, mountain climbing, rafting, fishing, and swimming.

Plan your ski holiday now, Canmore is centrally located between 5 major downhill ski areas: Lake Louise, Sunshine, Norquay, Nakiska, and Fortress. The ski hills start opening in mid-November. Excellent cross country skiing venues are just up the road at the Nordic Centre (in Canmore) or 1/2 hour away at Kananaskis.

So come and enjoy some of the world's most spectacular scenery, teeming with wildlife and breathe the fresh mountain air.
