At Fortech Adventures, we use the great outdoors for our classroom. Your introduction to the eastern slopes of Alberta's Rockies is found in the Montane, Sub-alpine, and Alpine tundra ecosystems of the front and main ranges. Share the habitat of protected wildlife such as bighorn sheep, elk, and the grizzly bear as you trek your way to a true wilderness experience. This area is the site of a Model Forest Program, which has been established to study integrated forest practises for recreation, timber management, biodiversity and wildlife habitat.
Fortech Adventures provides certified and trained guides to ensure both safety and the understanding of the Rocky Mountain environment. Learn from your guides, how aboriginal and early European pioneers used the plants and animals to survive in this serene, yet demanding environment. Our staging area is right next door to Jasper National Park, in Hinton, Alberta. This allows us to offer excursions inside and outside the Park. Staying clear of the heavily utilized, crowded areas is our specialty. We build custom adventure trips designed to create memories that will last a lifetime.
Full, half-day and overnight hikes, mountain bike tours, and custom back country itineraries are available. All excursions are planned with you to suit your needs, level of fitness, and experience. Overnight hikes include provision of: 3 meals per day, tent, sleeping bag, and pack. Alternative accommodation can be arranged, if desired.
