De Graff's Camp Resort (Gull Lake)

A Safe and Exciting Place For Children
~~~~
A Comfortable, Friendly Haven For Adults
Location:
We are happy to share our place by the lake with you. Located away from busy highways yet close enough to Highway #2 linking Calgary and Edmonton, we are easy to find. Nestled among farms, hills, and forest, we are right on the east shore of Gull Lake, central Alberta's largest lake.
The shores are lined with fields and meadows, wildlife, waterfowl and other feathered friends abound. Our 1 mile of lakeshore is rocky but the water is clear, (except after storms, or when waterplants spread their pollen in a prolonged hotspell).
Things to Do Here:
There is plenty of room to sail, waterski, fish, canoe, windsurf, swim, or just float around. We have wading pools, too.
At our place you can drive a ball on our driving range, practice mini golf, play pool, ping pong, badminton, volleyball, tetherball, softball, horseshoes, build sandcastles or just relax.
There are playgrounds, an arcade, confectionery, showers, laundry facilities, boatlaunch, piers, and rafts. We even have a Second-Hand Bookstore on site, so come in and browse. You can buy, sell or trade books.
You can even go Trail Riding on well trained horses.
Other Interests in the Area:
Shopping, museums, farmer's markets, and rodeos are offered in nearby villages and towns. Golf courses are close, so is the "world's wildest" waterslide. Only two hours to the Rocky Mountains and only little more than an hour to the shopping/entertainment dream of North America: West Edmonton Mall! A good place to take the children to on a rainy day.
Experience "Permanent" Camper Status
Tired of pulling a trailer in heavy traffic every weekend? Tired of worrying about finding a vacant campsite? Tired of getting crammed in among strangers? Tired of interrupted nights, and "Party Animals"? Tired of coming home tired and disenchanted? Tired of seeing your camper not getting used enough? Then it's time to look into "permanent" camper status. Come and select your spacious, grassed, treed site. Establish your home away from home and relax.
For the Safety and Comfort of All:
We welcome groups and re-unions, but not heavy drinking, noisy and/or late parties. Liquor is only allowed within your campsite. Under the Alberta Liquor Control Act, anyone drinking alcohol on the grounds, beach, washrooms, or other facilities can be charged. Campfires are permitted only in the firepits provided and for the safety of fellow campers and the surrounding flora, please make sure your fire is out before leaving.
Family Owned and Operated
Our Camp Resort is owned and operated by the same family since 1971 and we pride ourselves in running a quiet and clean establishment - this is how our campers like it, too. We do not approve of heavy drinking, nor loud music of any kind.
Please phone or write for bookings or additional information.
