Sundre - Profile

Sundre derives its name from a town in Norway. Some of the surrounding scenery is reminiscent of the Norwegian landscape.

The town, situated on the banks of the Red Deer River, is close to the Rocky Mountain Forest Reserve which offers beautiful scenery and numerous camping facilities. It is also close to some of the finest whitewater rafting, canoeing, and trail riding in Canada and excellent trout fishing streams.
