We specialize in year round wild boar bow hunting; farm vacations at our Lily Creek Ranch, (where groups of 2 to15 are welcome to enjoy rustic accommodations on our cow/calf cattle ranch); the marketing of European wild boar breeding stock; as well as, the marketing of our wild boar meat products.



Hunting:

All hunts are guided by a Class A Guide. Four hunters per group preferred. Tree stands and ground blinds are located on main trails. Boars range from yearlings to fully developed adults with tusks.

Crossbows are available at an additional $25 per hunt (plus arrows). European style hunts can also be set up for groups up to ten.

Barbeques:

Whole boar BBQ's on a spit prepared by us for special events, such as staff parties, and family reunions. We go to you or you can come to us! There are camping facilities available nearby.

Meat Products:

We also specialize in fresh, frozen, and processed meat - all government inspected. You may choose whole carcass or almost any cut of meat, as well as, wild boar smokies, jerky, meat pies, and terrine with apricots. Gift certificates are available. Hog Wild Specialties ships their products to customers worldwide.

Breeding Stock:

There are currently about 700 animals of varying ages in our boar operation. We also offer a full fledge "buy back" marketing plan for people who buy breeding stock from us. We encourage you to visit our farm to discuss our "market plan" option.

How to Find Us:

From Edmonton, proceed west on Highway #16 through Evansburg, turning north (right) at the junction with Highway #22. Continue north for 20 miles until you reach the turnoff for Highway #647 turning west (left). (If you were to continue on Highway #22 for another 4 miles, you would arrive at Mayerthorpe.) Follow Highway #647 west for 9 miles, then turn north (right) again for 3.5 miles. You have reached your destination.
