Enjoy the hunting trip of a lifetime in the beautiful Hawk Hills of Peace River country. Your guides, Lyall and Walter, will share 30+ years of experience hunting geese and ducks with you. With their combined knowledge, you can be assured of good calling and proper placement of blinds and decoys that produce 95% success of geese limits.  

Quality hunts are assured as only four hunters are in camp at any one time.   Stand-up bullrush blinds or eliminator coffin blinds, are used depending on hunter preference.  

General Information:

Accommodations:

Camp accommodations include three self-contained trailers with private rooms, plumbing, linen, towels and televisions. 

Bird guiding:

Hunts included meals, accommodations, decoy and blind setup , field guiding and transportation to the fields and return.  Hunters are responsible for processing of birds, which is available locally at a cost of $5.00 U.S. per goose; $3.50 U.S. per duck.

• Minimum stay 3 nights and 3 days,
• Five day hunts also available,
• Rates $350 U.S. per day / per person,
• Special rates available for groups of four,
• 33% deposit required; balance on arrival.

You Supply:

Declaration of firearms must be made at the border at a cost $50 Canadian.  Forms are available from the outfitter.

Bag Limits:

Vary each year based on Provincial / Federal regulations. The last years limits were:

- 8 geese per day / 16 in possession
- 8 ducks per day / 16 in possession
- Season runs from September 1st to November 30th, however,
- Prime hunting time is from September 1st to October 15th.
- Weather can be a factor beyond this time.
- No Sunday hunting for waterfowl.
- Sunday hunting for upland bird game permitted in some zones.

How to get there:

Daily flights to Peace River Alberta are available. Then rent a vehicle and drive 80 miles north to our goose Camp or get picked up at the airport at an extra cost.

Hard surface modern highways provide a pleasant drive through pristine country for those with more extensive vacations in mind.
