Western Guiding Services operates from Empress, Alberta with a lodge near Alsask, Saskatchewan. The facilities include:

Trophy Deer Hunts:

Western Guiding Services also offers Trophy Mule Deer and Trophy Mule Deer/Whitetail combination hunts in Wildlife Management Units on limited draw to Residents since 1989.

Hunts for both Bow and Rifle offer the very best opportunity to harvest Trophy Mule Deer .

Trophy Mule Deer Bow hunts are conducted in late October to take advantage of bucks movements as the rut approaches. The Wildlife Management Units are on resident draw with a wait of 3 to 4 years. The Management Units are bordered on the east by the Saskatchewan border and include the river bottoms of the South Saskatchewan and Red Deer Rivers. This area has consistently produced Trophy Mule Deer on a regular basis. The area is the destination of choice for those who do their homework. The river breaks routinely produce Whitetails in the 150 B/C range and 175+ B/C Mule deer.
