Our bow hunting area contains some excellent terrain to help insure your success. In addition, much of the area is restricted, providing that extra edge. During the pre-rut, when the deer are beginning to move on a regular basis, our bow hunting is done next to rub lines and over well used passage ways along ridges and creek bottoms. If the bucks are holding in heavy timber, we hunt between ponds and meadow openings that combine to funnel the deer along these selective runs. These naturally created runs work exceptionally well when the bucks are responding to rattling or the moose are responding to cow calls. They also work well when the animals are moving to and from their feeding areas. Our moose hunts are conducted in late September to mid-October when the moose are most likely to be in rut. Whitetail and mule deer bow hunts are conducted from early September to late October. The earlier part of the season is warmer and more comfortable for bow hunting. Later, the weather is cooler but the bucks tend to be moving more during all hours of the day. Included in our bow hunting packages are:
All hunts are conducted during the normal rut. Expenses before and after your hunt, hunting licenses, GST, butcher, taxidermy and shipping fees home, are not included in the price of your hunt.
Note: the excitement doesn't end with the successful completion of your whitetail hunt, we will then treat you to some coyote hunting for the rest of the week. Please write, phone, or e-mail us your phone number for specific information and bookings.
Your host for the hunt,
Michael Terry
