Fly In Moose Hunting Camps: (Tent Camps)

Alberta is noted for its large moose and excellent fly in moose hunting opportunities. The above moose is the typical size that you can expect to see on a fly in moose hunt in northern Alberta. Each year, Alberta fly in hunters harvest many of these fine animals in the 40 to 60 inch range, and more fortunate sportsmen take even larger ones.

Included in our fly in moose hunting packages are:

• Your Alberta W.I.N. (Wildlife Identification Number),
• Alberta moose hunting allocation,
• Licensed guide,
• Field care of your trophy,
• Good wholesome meals,
• Air transportation provided from Fort McMurray to camp,
• Hunting Camps are usually located 75-100 air miles from town,
• Hunts are conducted during the last two weeks of September & the first week of October. This is during the moose calling season,
• Hunters normally see a number of moose close up on these hunts, so a camera is essential,
• Transportation during the hunt is by boat or on foot,
• One Guide/One Hunter.

Expenses before and after your hunt, hunting licenses, GST, taxidermy and shipping fees home, are not included in the price of your hunt.
